Today, Saturday 17th December, the museum welcomed Ben Parkinson and the team from TAC II Air Assault back to the museum.
The group previously displayed at our October ‘Open Cockpits’ weekend, and we were delighted to be able to help Ben fulfil a wish to sit in a Harrier Cockpit with help from our friends at Jet Art Aviation. At the end of the open cockpits weekend, we were pleased to hear that Ben wanted to donate the money they raised that weekend to the museum and Ben’s visit today was to present a cheque for £500 to the museum.
We are very Grateful and wish to extend a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to Ben and all involved for the incredibly generous donation to the museum, and express out thanks for the incredible charitable work that Ben does for numerous charities around the region.
