Since re-opening in July, we have put in a huge amount of work to meet all of the various rules put in place to make a visit to SYAM as safe as possible while still keeping as much of our normal visitor experience open as possible, just see our recent reviews on Trip Advisor.
So we are obviously disappointed that following the latest announcement from the Government, from Thursday we will once again have to close our doors for the forseeable future.
Don't panic though, The good news is that we are still open as normal on Tuesday (3rd Nov) and Wednesday (4th Nov) before the new lockdown comes into effect, so if you’re looking for a fun family day out, somewhere to visit while you still can, or maybe you're a scale modeller looking to stock up on projects and supplies, please pay us a visit!
For more information on visiting the museum and our measures to keep your visit both safe and enjoyable see our website www.southyorkshireaircraftmuseum.org.uk
We will be posting regular updates on both the website and social media regarding our reopening, whenever that might be, as well as lots of interesting content including some more exhibit walk around’s from Jibz TV.
For our Volunteers: Wednesday will operate as normal, we will contact you with further details going forward in due course.
